VeggieTales in Outer Space is an american computer-animated children's comedy action adventure sci-fi thriller streaming television series created by Doug TenNapel, and the third VeggieTales TenNapel-created series following both 2014-2016's VeggieTales in the House, and 2017-2018's VeggieTales in the City, and canonically serves as a sequel series to both. The series premiered on October 14th, 2023 with a three-part opener special, and concluded on May 8th, 2027, with a special 2-part 3 hour LarryBoy finale. The series was produced by Big Idea Entertainment (Season 1-5), Yippie (Seasons 1-4), and produced briefly by ToonBoom Studios (Seasons 1-5 for the 2D-styled episodes).
The series stars the voices of Phil Vischer, Mike Nawrocki, Lisa Vischer (for the first time since 2019's The VeggieTales Show!), David Mann, Cydney Trent, Rob Paulsen, Kel Mitchell, Sean Chiplock, Jim Poole, Stephanie Southerland, and Justin Beiber (10 episodes). The series follows the events of what happened after "Bye Bye Bacon Bill!", and when everyone goes their separate ways, a space alien by the name of Matilda crash lands inside of the house, and explained to everyone that he planet is being attacked by power-hungry Bar-Brains. Together, with Matilda by their side, the veggies will learn morals about teamworks, good craftsmanship, how to be good friends, and greeting eachother the right way.
