On February 6, 1996, Sony Wonder and the CTW re released Rack, Shack & Benny on VHS, and again on December 8, 1998.

Differences[]

  • Although the original 1995 VHS has no previews, the 1996 CTW VHS has the 1996 Sesame Street Home Video and Audio promo (first seen on Do The Alphabet) and a promo for the first 3 episodes of VeggieTales. The 1998 CTW VHS replaces them with the late 1997 Sesame Street Home Video and Audio promo, and previews for The Alphabet Jungle Game, The Great Numbers Game, the CD Elmo's Lowdown Hoedown, and Sesame Street's 25th Birthday: A Musical Celebration, as well as previews for Where's God When I'm Scared, and Dave and the Giant Pickle.
  • It has the Sony Wonder FBI Warning in place of the Word Warning screen, followed by the Sony Wonder logo, and the 1983 CTW logo before the program starts on the 1996 CTW VHS, but on the 1998 CTW VHS, it is replaced with the Play It Smart variant of the 1997 CTW logo.
  • Mr. Nezzer's voice is pitch shifted down to -4 semitones in both versions, making his voice sound extremely deep. This also happens on Lyle the Kindly Viking
