Episode Summary Edit
Bob and Larry welcome the kids to VeggieTales. All of a sudden, Mr. Nezzer and Mr. Lunt come onto the countertop with a dilemma. Mr. Nezzer and Mr. Lunt are both performing in the Crisper County Talent Show tonight, and they've been practicing their act for days, and they both don't feel confident enough in their skills to take first place. Bob is then reminded of a letter they got from Naomi of Albany, New York. Naomi says she's been having trouble with how she feels about her performance at her job. She feels like she is being judged all the time, and is sometimes afraid to even show up to work as a result of the fear of her performance. She wonders what she should do. Bob thinks he knows the perfect story for Naomi, Mr. Nezzer, and Mr. Lunt. It's based on a popular tale, and is called Lar-addin.
Out in the streets, Lar-addin, a thief, is stealing some fruits for his little caterpillar friend, Khalil-u. He then bumps into Princess Petunia, which he doesn't realize at the time. In order to avoid being caught, he quick shows Petunia to his little home. It isn't much, but he mentions the fact his parents abandoned him when he was young. Petunia is impressed at the fact that Lar-addin steals so much stuff and gets away with it. Lar-addin mentions that he's no Robin Good, but he does the best he can. He wonders if Petunia has seen much of the city. She explains how she hasn't, mainly due to the fact that her father won't allow her to leave the palace, and because she is afraid of getting caught in public. Lar-addin thinks that's terrible. Petunia then realizes a prince from another country is heading into town, and she must head back to the palace. Lar-addin is confused.
