- Beginning with the 1999 VHS of "Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed", the 2001 DVD of "Lyle the Kindly Viking" and the 2011 Blu-Ray of "Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie", there would be an anti-piracy advice bumper at the beginning. It would go something like this:
- "We want you to enjoy everything this show has to offer - the stories, the silly songs and of course, the very important lessons - as much as possible but alas, there are many copies not sold at any store made by pirates who sadly don't do anything good. It will take a superhero far better than Larry-Boy to stop this. And as we all know, God doesn't like it when people make unauthorized copies of our videos. So do us all a favor and pick up a genuine VeggieTales video from any major retailer or Christian bookstore and help save us from being robbed of our silliness. And remember, God made you special and He loves you very much - even when you're a pirate who doesn't do anything."
- Several of the tapes will have custom bumpers, with either Gail Freeman, Steve McKenzie or the Silly Song Announcer announcing them.
- For some future releases of the pre-Lord of the Beans episodes,[1]choosing to play them will give you a choice between the original version and the secular versions. The same goes for some future releases of the pre-The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's episodes[2]where choosing to play them gives you a choice between the original version and the VeggieTales on TV versions.
