- The show is renamed "Return to the World of Strawberry Shortcake" since people aren't able to tell what gender Strawberry Shortcake and her friends are supposed to be due to the clothes they wore in the 2003 series.
- While Huckleberry Pie will still be a boy and would still be voiced by Debi Derryberry, all the other girls will be voiced by different actresses - except for Apple Dumplin' who would still be voiced by Lisa Vischer.
- Have it be made by Snee-Oosh.
- Have it air on Cartoon Network with five seasons from November 11, 1995 to September 19, 2000.
- Or if all those suggestions won't work, then just do a standalone special called "Strawberry Shortcake on the Wild Side" and release it on July 11, 2000 as a backdoor pilot to the 2003 series, complete with DiC Entertainment producing it.

- The show takes place at Pa Grape and Ma Grape's house.
- Age the characters to be 5-9, then have Laura and Junior's ages be the same like what they were in the actual show.
- Add in more characters like Percy Pea, Li'l Pea, Lenny Carrot and Baby Lou.
- Don't have recycled voice clips from different TV shows used for the characters.
- Don't have the characters cry too much when there're small problems.
- Get rid of the tantrum scenes and grounding scenes since they're not that appropriate for a VeggieTales spin-off.
- Don't have Archibald Asparagus sometimes be a jerk, so instead make him the smart veggie kid and he also learns and reads books.
- Have it air on Qubo with four seasons from November 7, 2003 to August 9, 2006.
- The voice actors who voiced their characters are involved with it.
- Have Mr. Nezzer age up to an adult and have him be a story reader that can read stories to the kids.
- Sometimes at the end of some episodes, the characters laugh together.
