God Wants Us To Be Kind is the one hundred twenty-sixth episode of VeggieTales that teaches a lesson in kindness.
Description[]
Two great stories that teach kids how to be kind to others!
In "Kindness for Alvin", the citizens of Bumblyburg are hosting an annual food drive. Awful Alvin, being the villain he is, is unable to partake from the food drive. The citizens of Bumblyburg are heated when they discover Awful Alvin attempting to help himself out. However, Callie Flower realizes that God wants us to be kind to others, even when they don't deserve it. It's up to Callie to open up the eyes of the citizens and realize that even bad guys deserve some kindness.
In "Big Steps", we see a very Veggie Biblical retelling of the story of Peter and John. A beggar on the street is preventing Peter and John from their big, important plans. However, John believes that they should stop and help the poor beggar be able to walk again. Peter, however, has his heart set to do God's will. Will Peter be able to learn what it takes to be kind, even in questionable situations?
