On August 1, 2000, Sony Wonder and Sesame Workshop released a sampler for A Taste of VeggieTales.
Differences[]
- It has a preview for the Dragon Tales video collection before the program starts, followed by the Sony Wonder FBI Warning, Sony Wonder logo, and Sesame Workshop blue house green roof logo (completely still variant). However, earlier copies have the 1997 CTW Play It Smart logo, but those earlier copies are extremely rare and hard to find. The packaging also still reads Children's Television Workshop.
- After the "Why We Do, What We Do" bumper plays, the ending card is replaced with a "Wherever children's videos, CDs, cassettes and book-and-tape sets are sold" promo for Sony Wonder.

- The sampler has the CTW Play It Smart logo if the print date is below June 10, 2000. (EG, April 30, 2000) If the print date is above or at June 10, 2000 it has the completely still prototype blue house green roof Sesame Workshop logo (EG, June 22, 2000)
