On May 17, 2005, Paramount and PBS Kids re released Duke and the Great Pie War on VHS.
Differences[]
- The Paramount DVD Warning screen, a SpongeBob SquarePants trailer, and a Nick Jr VHS and DVD trailer is added before the VeggieTales trailers. However they are completely different from the original release, with the first VeggieTales release being Duke and the Great Pie War, interestingly enough, followed by Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson's Hairbrush, and A Snoodle's Tale.
- After the Why We Do What We Do promo, the PBS Kidsvideo logo and the PBS Kids and You Use Your Imagination promo are added before the program starts. After the program is over, the Big Idea and PBS Kidsvideo logos are added before a preview for Lord of the Beans.
Trivia[]
- This is the last VHS release to contain the PBS Kidsvideo Transformation bumpers. This release has Dot Transformation at the beginning and Dash Transformation at the end.
- This is the only VHS release that Petunia Rhubarb appears in to use the PBS Kidsvideo Transformation bumpers. Other VHS releases that Petunia Rhubarb appears in, use the 1999 PBS Kidsvideo logos.
- Interestingly enough, there is a preview for the original release of Duke and the Great Pie War on the PBS Kids release
