Clone Wars is the sixth episode of Grade In Action which was released on February 4th, 2003. It teaches a lesson in letting the children come.
Plot[]
Early in the morning, Mrs. Thompson is woken up by Albert. Mrs. Thompson is initially confused until Albert uses a calendar to reveal it is his birthday, sending Mrs. Thompson into a panic. For the occasion, Mrs. Thompson bakes him eight birthday cupcakes and films Albert eating them, eventually leaving to add the footage to his "home video montage". After finishing, Albert notices through counting the candles that Mrs. Thompson by mistake, cooked one less than required. After Mrs. Thompson himself recounts, he finds there to be no cupcake ingredients left in the house to make another, prompting him to go to the supermarket. To pass the time, Albert prays that Jesus will let the little children come and goes to sleep.
When Albert is ready to go to into space to get some rare ice crystals to make the perfect freeze ray, Mrs. Thompson stops him by saying that he has to do chores:
- Mail a letter at post office.
- Sit with Grandma on the park.
- Pick up Dad's badminton shoes.
- Drop off a pie at school
- Pick up a book and give it to Erika Vortex's mother
Unfortunately, Albert has to get into space now so Robo-Dog gives Albert the idea of cloning himself so he does it, and six clones come out of the cloning machine: sunglasses-clad Cool Albert, devil-haired Evil Albert, positive Happy Albert, negative Gloomy Albert (with a frowny face pin on his shirt), French accented Romance Albert, and funny-man Funny Albert.
Albert notices that the high speed of the cloning gave each clone a solitary distinct personality and considers doing a risk assessment but changes his mind. Albert goes into space, but his clones are not as bright as they seem.
The chore with Grandma Thompson is done by Happy Albert. Grandma says that the bench was too hard, the birds were around her were too close, and the sun was in her eyes, but Happy Albert thought it was great as the birds landed on his arms when he smiled at the sun, which makes Grandma worried.
Gloomy Albert is doing the chore with the post office, but he gets his hand stuck in the mailbox; Eddie comes walking by, tells Gloomy Albert that he has to do a report on snails or Napoleon, and asks for help, but Gloomy Albert says there was no point in doing homework because everyone is just "Dust in the wind", which leaves Eddie disappointed.
Cool Albert is doing the badminton shoes chore, but on the way (after walking past Daisy Fields who flirts at him and mistakes him as the real Albert), he bumps into Donald and asks if he could ride on his skateboard for a minute. Cool Albert does cool tricks on the skateboard, which impresses Donald, but Cool Albert purposely breaks it, which annoys Donald.
Later in space, Albert is doing good at collecting ice crystals along with Robo-Dog, and wonders about his clones.
Back in Cincinnati, Patrick is playing with his brand-new Ultra Lord toys, but Funny Albert arrives and tells jokes about Ultra Lord, which doesn't make Patrick laugh and makes him upset instead.
Romantic Albert takes the book to Erika's mother, but Erika answers the door instead. Romantic Albert sings a song, which makes Erika faint.
Evil Albert is doing the pie chore, except he sees someone, and asks him if he wanted the pie, he says yes, but Evil Albert throws the pie in his face as Evil Albert says, "You can't beat the classics!"
The real Albert comes back to Cincinnati and sees everyone at his house! Mr. Thompson then asks everyone what Albert did. Donald says that he busted his skateboard (Cool Albert), Eddie says that he said he was going to be dusted in the wind (Gloomy Albert), Grandma Thompson says that he made her dentures fell out (Happy Albert), Patrick says that he parodied Ultra Lord (Funny Albert), Erika lies by saying that he threatened her (Romantic Albert) and the man said that he threw a pie in his face (Evil Albert). Mr. Thompson tells the mob he's sure his son has a good reason for doing all these weird, admittedly, bizarre and out of character mishaps.
Albert and Robo-Dog go to find the clones; they find them, except, Evil Albert is missing. The clones decide to help Albert find him, who was switching the bathroom signs of a building. Albert and the clones find Evil Albert, but he tries to escape. While looking for him, Evil Albert somehow unknowingly changes his face and hair to look like Albert, which leaves the clones confused. The clones think that Evil Albert is the real Albert, which leaves Albert no choice, but to battle Evil Albert to see who's the real Albert. The two Albert's get in a verbal battle, each trying to convince the clones that they are the real one. The clones still think that Evil Albert is the real Albert, so sadly, Albert has no choice but to freeze the clones by using a big wave of ice which freezes into a big ice cube! It works, except Albert loses his perfect freeze ray, but he's happy since he can get those clones back to the lab but...he's missing one!
Evil Albert somehow avoided being frozen and steals Albert's jetpack, and uses it to escape before Albert's friends, Grandma and the man find him and confront him on his deeds. However, Albert stops and explain to them what really happened after 4 hours, and Albert's name is cleared. Donald asks if Albert caught all of the clones, but Evil Albert shows up, with the others yelling at Albert, which leaves the others chasing Albert and Robo-Dog (even though Albert and Robo-Dog did nothing wrong), with Evil Albert throwing a pie at the screen. As the episode ends, Albert says "Matthew 9:14", prays, and sleeps in his bed.
At The Ice Cream Shoppe, Albert and the gang perform a fifth song called, "Country music".
