Bob and Larry's Valentine's Day Special is the thirteenth episode of season 5 of VeggieTales Kids. It is also the second special from season 5.

Plot[]
Bob the Tomato, all alone, greets and welcomes the viewer. He says to the viewer that Larry will be here pretty soon, because he just got up to go to the bathroom. Bob then tells the viewer that today is Valentine's Day, and that he and Larry already made Valentine's day cards for his friends and teachers. He also tells the viewers that there will be a school lunch party at 11:00. Just then, Larry comes out of the restroom and asks Bob who he is talking to. Bob explains that he's talking to the viewer on the screen. Larry then greats the viewer and then tells the viewer that everything Bob said is right. A 45 minutes later time card follows, and Bob and Larry take the bus to school. At school,, the principal announces that there is no work all day. and that the school hours will extend an extra 45 minutes, so that way they can have all 90 minutes of classes, and lunch at 11:00. In Mrs. Leader's literacy class, the students are eating chocolate, and watching The Jungle Book Bob and Larry give their Valentine's day cards to Mrs. Leader. and Mrs. Leader sobs hysterically with tears of joy, and tells them that it is the best Valentine's Day card she has ever received. A 90 minutes later time card follows, and Mr. Singalot's choir class is watching Mary Poppins, and Bob and Larry give another one of their Valentine cards to Mr. Singalot. and Mr. Singalot hugs Bob and Larry, and tells them that they make him very happy. Another 90 minutes later time card follows, and everyone is having lunch.Bob the Tomato eats a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, bananas, apples, grapes, and tomatos. whjile Larry eats apples, bananas, hot dogs, and oranges. The other veggies eat different types of food. The film being shown in the cafeteria is A Bugs Life. Bob gives the cards to Jimmy Gourd, Junior Asparagus, Archibald Asparagus and Madame Blueberry, while Larry gives the cards to Jerry Gourd, Laura Carrot, and Mr. Nezzer. and everyone thanks Bob and Larry for their cards. Then, another 90 minutes later time card follows, and Mr. Squashy's math class, the students are watching The Rescuers, and Bob and Larry each give Mr. Squashy their Valentine's day cards. After reading the card, Mr. Squashy gives them both a hug. and thanks them for the card. Then, another 90 minutes later time card follows, and Mr. Jerrycone's science class watches The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Bob and Larry give Mr. Jerrycone the card, which causes Mr. Jerrycone to cry tears of joy. He thanks them for the cad. Bob says there is only 1 more teacher to give the card to, which leads to another 90 minutes later time card where Bob and Larry start playing their instruments, until Mrs. Bradfair tells them that the class will watch a movie instead. The film the students watch is Fantasia. Bob and Larry give Mrs. Bradfair the Valentine's Day card, and Mrs. Braadfair tells Bob and Larry that this card is the sweetest card she has ever seen. A 90 minutes later time card folllows, and Bob and Larry take the bus back home. Bo says that this was the best school day ever. Larry says that he couldn't agree more. Then the episode fades out.

- Although this episode aired on February 19, 2003, it takes place on Valentine's Day 2003. 2003 was the only year that the episode did not air on Valentine's Day, but the season 2 episode Happy Valentine's Day re aired on Valentine's Day 2003 instead. Every year when Valentine's Day came, after it aired, this episode would air every year on Valentine's Day beginning in 2004, along with a re airing of the VeggieTales Kids season 2 episode, Happy Valentine's Day. Also on that day, A Clifford Valentine's Day special aired on PBS every Valentine's day containing the episodes Clifford's Big Heart, and Cleo's Valentine Surprise.
- The sound of Mr. Jerrycone crying tears of joy in this episode was also heard when Patrick Star cried tears of joy near the end of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode The Great Snail Race.
- Interestingly, the music heard at the end of the Clifford the Big Red Dog episode Cleo's Valentine Surprise was also heard at the end of this episode.
- While the special Jerry's Halloween used the green background in the season 5 funding, and the PBS Kids Fishbowl logo, Bob and Larry's Valentine's Day Special uses the red background in the season 5 funding, as well as the PBS Kids Snowglobe logo.
