Archie without his monocle
Archibald Asparagus, often shortened Archie, is a character in VeggieTales. He is a proper British asparagus who is slightly uptight and eccentric. He usually portrays the role of leaders, such as King Darius, the Mayor of Flibber-O-Loo, and King Saul. He is also known for one of his main roles as Alfred, Larry-Boy's faithful butler. In the early episodes, Archibald disliked the Silly Songs with Larry (the time when Larry the Cucumber sings a silly song mid-show). But in time he has loosened up about it, even performing in several Silly Songs of his own. Archibald is well known for his main role as Jonah in Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie. He also appears as Willory in The Pirates Who Don't do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie.
